WOW...summer is half way over already:( I realized it was July and that I left some people hanging with my last two posts. Well, God is a faithful God isn't He??? ALex had a really bad day yesterday but some days are just like that aren't they:) When we walk by faith we walk looking with not our own eyes but by the eyes that see beyond what is right in front of you. Faith is believeing in what you can not yet see with your eyes and then trusting in God to unfold His plan in His timing(ouch) and in His perfect way. If we could see then it would not be faith. Wow, that timing thing. It is so difficult to wait isn't it. But yet, there is so much we can learn on the journey. SO the lowdown on ALex right now is that God has brought some individuals into our lives(one an old friend and one a new one) that are helping us to "figure" some things out. One of the individuals is a doctor that fully believes in ALex's recovery , and he has seen(and studied) the MRI's. Alex's injuries are very complicated but yet not too complicated for God. It is He that we seek the answers from and then diligently follow His leadings. ALex is making progress but as always it is in God's timing...and it is a process. Work, sacrifice, pain, and yes, suffering, are involved but God provides us with a measure of grace needed for the journey that He has taken us on. SOmeone just sent me the coolest little book that talks about the same God that leads you into the desert is the SAME God that will bring you through and out....AMEN!!! ALex is not up and out of bed yet but he is looking much better...slow but sure wins the race:)
If you are getting on here and do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ it is actually easy. He desires to have a personal relationship with you. A one in which you and He can communicate with one another. Just talk to Him and ask Him. YOu do not have to be "cleaned up" to come before Him. He loves you as you are but wants the best for you. Tell Him that you want to know Him and that you realize that you need a savior. A relationship with CHrist is not pain free, as a matter of fact He tells us in the Bible(His word) that we will face trials) but He will supply ALL we need to get through those trials. I can testify that He more than sustains!!!! Blessings, Beth
