Sorry there has been a delay in updates....we are back into the home routine meaning SCHOOL IS IN SESSION!!! Alex is doing much better every day. He still has some recooping to do but we are getting there. He has been down in bed for too long and is starting to get back up for small amounts of time. I can not leave him up for too long because he is now so tall. His chair is all wrong for him. It is mind-blowing to see how big he looks in the same chair that he fit in just a few weeks ago. The good news is that he is due for a new chair...bad news...it can take months to get a new chair. We will pray that the chair gets approved by the system and processed quicker than normal. His fluid situation is getting better and his appetite is coming back! Another little guy that has a spinal cord injury at a high level, spent eight weeks in the hospital after his rod surgery. Remember that although we are home many others are still in the ICU and some parents are going home with empty arms. There is much to be thankful for and much to praise the King for.
